Customs Brokerage

Canara Cargo, as customs brokers, assists importer and exporters process declarations for through customs.

Our services include preparing the required documentation, calculating appropriate duty leviable and other taxes (if applicable) on behalf of the importer, arranging for inspection of the cargo as required by customs, and ensuring timely delivery.

Details of Services Provided:

  • Interaction with the importers and exporter prior to the arrival of shipment to ensure proper documentation and speedy clearance upon arrival.
  • Filing and processing of import and export declarations, Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill respectively, through the Customs.
  • Collection of Cargo Arrival Notice and Delivery Order from liners and consolidating agents.
  • Arranging for inspection of the cargo by the governmental agency and insurance surveyors, if required.
  • Filing of application with EOU/STPI/EHTP and SEZ Authorities and processing of import/export approvals.
  • Arranging necessary documentation from EPC for smooth movement of goods from the port to the Importer’s premise in case of EOU/STPI/EHTP/SEZ clearances.
  • Making arrangements for CT-3 certificates for export units to procure goods locally.
  • EOU/STPI/EHTP unit registration at ports.
